We offer a range of ear health check and wax removal services either at our clinic or mobile
Ear Health Checks
Ear health checks are performed in one or both ears. This is painless and involves the use of the latest endoscopic equipment and techniques to capture images of the outer ear. This will identify any impacted wax, ear infections or ruptures. The Pharmacist will then discuss treatment options or suitable referral to another appropriate healthcare provider.
Ear Wax Removal
Upon detection of impacted ear wax, the Pharmacist will conduct a medical history review. Most patients will be suitable to have their wax removed by micro-suction which is painless and effective and generally the procedure lasts less than 30 minutes. It is recommended to use olive oil spray/drops to soften ear wax for 5-7 days before the appointment.
Clinic & Mobile
The Wax Busters offer a local clinic based in The Medical Rooms Bangor.
We also offer a mobile service to the patients accommodation especially for disabled, housebound or care home patients.
