Mobile Ear Health Check and Wax Removal

Service Description

An ear health check examination is carried out by a pharmacist on one or both ears in the comfort of your own home/ environment, using the latest endoscopic equipment and techniques to allow clear images of the outer ear. This will allow diagnosis of wax impaction, infection or ruptures. A medical history review will be carried out and then if suitable wax removal is performed using microsuction. This procedure will usually take less than 30 minutes to complete. A set fee of £25 is payable upon booking and non refundable if appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. If wax removal is required upon examination a further payment of £40 will be required at end of appointment. The demographic areas covered include North Down and Ards and the Ards Peninsula.
